Mission Trip 2007Copperhill, TN - June 17-23, 2007 It started with a prayer and a lot of determination, but it ended with a book of memories and life changing experiences. The Beck's Reformed Youth embarked on a week long mission trip to Copperhill, TN. With Whitewater Express as our base camp, 41 of us (32 youth and 9 adults) worked on a variety of projects aimed at helping a poor area (mostly owned by a local vet with little funds to make improvements on his rental houses.) We built fences, roofed a building, built a pig house, re-screened a porch, began the re-siding of a house amongst many other things. Most importantly, through nightly worship services that focused on not getting "distracted" and which incorporated personal testimonials along with music and bible studies on Nehemia, we were able to grow spiritually and in our love of one another. It was an amazing experience that will not soon be forgotten. Below are some of the highlights of our journey... GALLERY 1 GALLERY 2 GALLERY 3 GALLERY 4 GALLERY 5 GALLERY 6 GALLERY 7
